Six Feet Up Co-Founders to Lead Conference Panel Session

Gabrielle Hendryx-Parker and Calvin Hendryx-Parker of Six Feet Up have both been tapped as leaders of the "Change From the Ground Up" panel session which will be held as part of the Women Working in Technology Conference being held April 22 in Indianapolis.

The four person panel session will explore the unique experience of starting a business. Three Indiana startups will share the story of what made them take the plunge, what surprised them and what one thing they would recommend for someone thinking about starting their own business. Six Feet Up, Inc., a privately-held WBE-certified woman-owned company that develops custom open source web applications to help manage business online, is one of those businesses.

Gabrielle Hendryx-Parker, CEO, and co-founder of Six Feet Up brings over 17 years of experience in international product marketing and project management. As CEO, she manages a team of developers, template designers, QA engineers, and hosting specialists to translate client's vision and goals into powerful and easy to manage user interfaces. She is a member of the Plone Foundation.

Calvin Hendryx-Parker, CTO, and co-founder of Six Feet Up has over 12 years of experience in fields as diverse as systems engineering, data modeling, and information architecture. As Chief Technology Officer for Six Feet Up, Calvin is responsible for researching cutting-edge advances that could become part of the company’s technology roadmap. He is also President of the Plone Foundation.

They will be joined on the panel by Michael Langellier, the co-founder, and CEO of MyJibe, and Ryan Cox, founder, and CMO of StatSquared.

A generous question and answer period will follow the panel, where attendees can ask their questions of the participants.
