This month, IndyAWS' guest speakers are Chris Chalfant and Andrew Kaczorek (Leaf Software Solutions) presenting on "Serverless Container-based Web Applications on AWS Fargate"

Talk Abstract:

This talk will demonstrate how to build, test, and deploy a Docker container-based web application without managing a single virtual machine. They’ll compare this method of hosting web applications with traditional server-based hosting and newer Function-as-a-Service hosting and talk about differences in performance, hosting costs, monitoring and support effort.
