Gabrielle Hendryx-Parker | CEO

Six Feet Up, Inc. co-founder Gabrielle Hendryx-Parker brings over 17 years of experience in international product marketing and project management. As CEO for Six Feet Up, Inc., she manages a team of developers, template designers, QA engineers, and hosting specialists to translate client's vision and goals into powerful and easy to manage user interfaces. She is a member of the Plone Foundation.
Before starting Six Feet Up, Gabrielle worked with high-tech start-ups in the Silicon Valley, providing companies with a strong customer-oriented vision and down-to-earth marketing advice. At MGI Software/Napster, she managed the development of an award-winning digital imaging software product featuring a Warner Bros. license.
In Paris, France, she worked for Kodak, Microsoft and NCR, where she investigated and provided recommendations on the launch of several new products and services.
Gabrielle holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and Leadership from EM Lyon, France.

Calvin Hendryx-Parker | CTO

Six Feet Up, Inc. co-founder Calvin Hendryx-Parker has over 14 years of experience in fields as diverse as systems engineering, data modeling and information architecture.
As Systems Engineer for Epylon, an enterprise-class company providing integration services to public sector entities, Calvin implemented ERP systems, deployed marketplace application servers and spearheaded network trouble-shooting.
As Chief Technology Officer for Six Feet Up, Calvin is responsible for researching cutting-edge advances that could become part of the company’s technology road map.
Calvin provides both the company and its clients with recommendations on tools and technologies, systems architecture and solutions that address specific information-sharing needs. His goal is to promote best practices and processes, and create a knowledge-sharing culture to enhance the effectiveness of operations and professionals.
Calvin is well-known in the Plone Community for being an excellent speaker who can communicate effectively with all levels of an organization. He was President of the Plone Foundation in 2011 and served two terms on the board.
Calvin holds a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University.

Carol Ganz | Director of Customer Relationships

Carol holds a B.S. in Marketing from University of Wisconsin-River Falls which served as a strong foundation for over 20 years of experience. Carol’s blend of customer focused service and strong organization skills have been strong assets in a variety of industries.
As Six Feet Up’s former Director of Technical Services, Carol boasts a strong understanding of hosting products and services that she leverages to advise both old time clients and new prospects. Her can-do attitude and extensive experience in managing people and projects makes Carol the backbone of the Sixies team.
Carol was elected Vice President of the Plone Foundation in 2011.

Jennifer Myers | Director of Accounting

As Director of Accounting, Jen is responsible for all financial aspects of the organization.
She comes to Six Feet Up with over 15 years of financial experience; 12 years in public accounting, followed by a 3 1/2 year stint as the Financial Controller at a software and hardware company which left her well-prepared to oversee Six Feet Up's rapidly growing business.
Jen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana State University. She's been married to her husband, Kane, since 1996 and has three children — Madisen, Isabelle & Jacob. She's also proud to have her motorcycle endorsement and hopes to get back to riding motorcycles in the near future.

James A. Bartek | Director of Marketing

Jim Bartek comes to Six Feet Up with 10 years of experience in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Visual Communication, and Management Consulting.
Jim is actively involved in the tech startup community as a volunteer organizer of Startup Weekend Indianapolis and a founding committee member of the Hoosier Healthcare Innovation Challenge. He also judges various technology awards and has been named a finalist in Indy's Best & Brightest the past two years in the Technology category. He has presented on various topics including evaluating business opportunities, digital marketing, customer experience strategy, and business incubation best practices.
Previously Jim was the Director of the Purdue Technology Center of Indianapolis, where he advised entrepreneurs on startup and growth strategies especially in the areas of fundraising, digital marketing, and business planning. Prior to that Jim was the co-founder and director of marketing and sales for a science animation and simulation company, Seyet, for seven years. He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Graphics Technology.

Clayton Parker | Director of Engineering

Clayton Parker is an active member of the Plone community and Plone Foundation Member. He has presented at conferences on a wide variety of topics including buildout, GenericSetup, LDAP, theming and migration. He is also known in the Plone community as an advocate of best practices and an avid blogger on technical issues.
Clayton has been developing websites using Plone since 2004, when he joined Six Feet Up as a Systems Administrator. His hand-on experience on both sides of the development and hosting equation is something he leverages while delivering quality projects which can scale in the long term.
He came to programming a circuitous route, when he discovered an aptitude for logic while while pursuing his Philosophy Major at IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis).

Lucie Parker | Master Scheduler

Lucie Parker holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Université de Jussieu Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, France, as well as a Masters Degree in Algorithm and Programming, topped with a specialization in Multimedia Information Systems.

Chrissy Wainwright | Senior Template Developer

Six Feet Up’s Lead Template Developer Chrissy Wainwright has accumulated several years of experience in website development since she obtained her Bachelor of Science from Western Illinois University in 2004.
Chrissy enjoys problem solving and fixing bugs, which she has leveraged to reach a solid level of proficiency with HTML and CSS. With an eye for design and detail, she is very thorough when developing templates and is a strong advocate of adherence to web compliance standards. Chrissy has given various talks and trainings at Plone Symposium East and the Plone Conference.
Chrissy is a Plone Core contributor and has done development on KARL. She works from her home in New Hampshire.

David Blewett | Senior Developer

David Blewett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice & Criminology from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He has 5+ years designing database-driven applications, including working with Django and other Python technologies.
As a Sixie, he helps develop cutting-edge web sites and ensures that current sites run at peak efficiency. He has a talent for tracking down the root cause of problems in systems, and enjoys learning more about Python, Plone and Zope.
Prior to Six Feet Up, David worked for the Salvation Army as a Database Administrator. There he gained in-depth experience working with the PostgreSQL RDBMS, Django and Open Solaris. He was in charge of reporting rehabilitation treatment progress to the state of Indiana, and for writing web-based applications to fulfill accreditation requirements.

Lauren Lawrence | Director of Account Management

Lauren comes to Six Feet Up with 10 years of experience managing large web/application development and systems integration projects for Fortune 500 telecommunications and high tech corporations, as well as higher education and various nonprofit organizations.
Serving as the Director for a team of Account Managers, and interacting with Plone developers, template designers, and QA engineers, Lauren collaborates with our clients and other Six Feet Up Account Managers to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of development projects.
Prior to joining Six Feet Up, Lauren worked as a Business and Systems Integration Consultant in the Communications and High Tech group at Accenture, where she provided her technical project management skills for such efforts as requirements identification/management, software design/development/testing/implementation, and end-user testing and training.
Lauren holds an M.S. in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University.

Michelle Jarvi | Account Manager

Michelle comes to Six Feet Up with prior sales and leadership experience in the telecommunications field. Her ability to adapt quickly and strong customer-first mentality makes Michelle an asset for the Development team. With a constant yearning to learn new technologies and processes, Michelle fits in easily with all of the Sixies.
Before joining the Sixies, Michelle worked in Dell's Customer Escalation Support solving intense technical issues, interned in Corporate Communications and Business Development at Rolls-Royce, and worked as a graduate assistant at Ball State University during the completion of her masters degree.
Michelle also has previous experience working first-hand with content management systems at Ball State University, where she received both her degrees: Bachelor of Art in Telecommunications and a Master of Science in Information and Communication Sciences. Michelle is a proud owner of a jack russell terrier and enjoys playing classical piano, bass guitar, and jazz saxophone.

Jen Mukes | Sales Support Professional

Jen brings over 5 years of customer service, fundraising, sales and marketing experience to the Sixies Team and her position as Sales Support Professional. In her most recent position, Jen served as the State Director for Not For Sale Massachusetts, a local chapter of a global anti-human trafficking and human rights organization. As state director, Jen exercised her project and event management skills by host various events throughout the Greater Boston Area. She also managed a wider base of volunteers and interns, which continued to assist Not For Sale Massachusetts in becoming one of the most active state chapters in the county.
Jen holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Cedarville University, which built a great foundation for the skill set she possesses. Her time working in the non-profit sector and the retail management industry also give Jen the advantage in her new role on the Sixies Team.
