What does a Member see?
The Member role is the most commonly used role in a Plone site. Most of the users in a Plone site will have the Member role. By default, a Member can see anything that is published, a list of what is in a folder, list of portal members, list of portal groups, and portlets.
Many site administrators do change these defaults, so check with your administrator to see if your site is different.
