#5 - Microsites
Many organizations with a large number of sub-groups, programs and departments end up with either a myriad of independent and inconsistent websites or with a gigantic site offering countless competing messages.
To address that challenge, Six Feet Up has helped many of our clients deploy and manage microsites that boast their own custom branding without the time, effort and expense of actually setting up a brand new site. This "hub and spoke" architecture is very powerful and is getting rapidly adopted in the industry as it allows for easy and powerful syndication of content between microsites, increases search engine visibility, and allows for a simplified yet coordinated way to address subsets of audiences.
Duke UniversitySix Feet Up deployed a "hub and spoke" architecture for Duke Clinical Research Institute's new intranet, with a main site and several subsites. The goal was to effectively address a variety of audiences. See case study > |
Another example from a different industry:
RES SoftwareSix Feet Up developed the ability for RES Software's site to support microsites and deployed an advocacy subsite for one of the company's products. See case study > |
