Project Outline:
One of the primary goals of the new MS Friends website was to promote their help and hotline services to a larger community and to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis. To this purpose, MS Friends asked the "6+8" partnership (Six Feet Up and eight fluid ounces) to design and develop a content managed website for their organization.
eight fluid ounces and Six Feet Up combined their expertise in visual communication and open source web technologies to provide MS Friends with a smooth transition from design concepts to back-end developments.
The new MS Friends website features a new design to make information easy to find and easy to update and is powered by a Plone based Content Management System with built-in approval process. This allows anybody with the appropriate privilege to edit content using a platform-independent web-based user interface.
