Moving to a new host can seem daunting. We strive to make this transition as easy as possible for you.  This page is designed to help you get started.  Follow the steps below in order to complete the Plone Hosting Sign Up Form. Feel free to contact us to ask any questions or list any concerns and we'll give you the individual attention you need as quickly as is possible.

 

Step 1: DECIDE ON a package.

If you need a site that is ideal for a small to medium size production Plone site,  we've got four virtual private server plans for you.  If you need more resources, check our dedicated server plans and remember we can customize our services to match your needs.

The most important deciding factors when choosing a package is to evaluate the amount of RAM, size of data.fs, and disk space used. Knowing the size of these three things will help us make a recommendation on which plan will best meet your needs.

 

Step 2: CHOOSE OPTIONAL extras.

We offer all kinds of extras to enhance our hosting packages. We can help you register or renew a domain name.  We can implement statistics tracking on your site so that you know how much traffic you're getting and from where. If you have a high traffic site, we offer extra bandwidth. We can also add a MySQL database or a SSL certificate to your site.  Want Caching setup to help your site's performance, yes we can do that as well!

 

Step 3: Provide Technical Details.

In order to make the transition as smooth as possible, the hosting form asks for some important details. We need to know what version of Plone you would like, if it should be a new instance or if we will be importing an existing site. We can help you register a new URL or we can transfer your DNS to our servers. If we are transferring your DNS, it is critical that we have contact information for whoever currently controls your DNS. To better understand DNS and the transferring process, you can read this tutorial. Be sure you let us know about any add on products and their versions that your site uses. We also ask for contact information for your technical and administrative contacts.

 

Step 4: Decide on Billing Options.

Your billing account will need to be setup before we start work. You can provide your credit card information on the Hosting Sign Up Form or you can call us to make other arrangements.  This will ensure that your services are set up as quickly as possible. Not having your information in our billing system will delay the setup of your services, so it's best to get that done early.

 

Once you have completed the entire Hosting Sign Up Form we have enough information to get you set up. After we receive your information, you can expect to hear from us shortly with details on an expected set up date and any questions we may have.
