Webmail can be accessed at http://webmail.<yourdomain>

How do I set a vacation message for my mail service?

First, you'll need to log in to your webmail.  If you do not know how to do this, please send a support request to support@sixfeetup.com for the URL and your log in information.

Once logged in to your webmail you'll need to follow a series of links to get to the proper place.  The links are as follows:

Options -> Email Rules -> Create a New Rule

Once at the proper page, you'll need to start by entering a name for the rule.  A commonly used term is "Out of Office Autoreply" or something similar.

Continuing down the same page, you'll need to make the options on that page read as follows:
If:  "all of" the following conditions are met:  "To or CC" "is" <enter your email address in last box.>

Then perform the following actions: "auto respond" with message:
<enter the text of your auto-response email here>

After that is complete, click "Save" at the bottom and you're done.

Please note that once you click "Save", the rule will be in place immediately.  A good idea is to test your setup prior to going on vacation to make sure that you have it configured correctly.

I need an email address to send emails to a list of people.

The easiest way to do this is with what is known as an email alias.  If you host email through us, this is completely free to set up!  You will need to log in to your email control panel to create the alias.  If you do not know how to do this, contact us and we'll give you the information you need to get this done.

Once logged in, you'll want to click the "Manage Users" link.  From there, you'll want to create an alias.  The interface is fairly straight forward from there.  You may add as many email addresses to forward to with this alias as you'd like.
