Blog & Social Sharing Enhancements for Audubon Society of Portland
July 11, 2013
Plone CMS with Social Sharing
Audubon Society of Portland promotes the understanding, enjoyment, and protection of native wildlife and their habitats, while inspiring people to love and protect nature since 1902. They are devoted to the conservation of Oregon's last remaining wild places, focusing on their local community and the Pacific Northwest.
Audubon came to Six Feet Up with a request to drive more visitors to their Blog and give them the capability to easily share posts by Twitter, Facebook, or e-mail. To meet these needs, Six Feet Up implemented an enhanced blog view in the blog section of the site, along with implementing a social sharing icon bar that provides analytics reports on how users are sharing content.
AudubonPortland.org is hosted by Six Feet Up and runs on the Plone CMS. Feel free to take a look at one of their blogs at http://audubonportland.org/issues/metro/rivers/hayden/blog.
Organizations interested in enhancing their website, or hosting, are encouraged to contact Carol Ganz, Six Feet Up's Director of Customer Relationships, to investigate options.
