Six Feet Up Presents at the Plone Conference in Vienna

September 19, 2005

At the 2005 Plone Conference in Vienna, Austria, Six Feet Up shared their experience using XUL with Plone for developing rich interfaces for project to manage content other than document-based objects.

XUL allows for the development of rich cross-platform custom client interfaces to any Plone-powered site using standard-based technologies such as RDF, XML-RPC, WebDAV and XML HTTP Requests. The talk will be an introduction to the technology and its uses in Plone. The presentation featured a mini case study about a current project where Six Feet Up implemented a XUL interface for managing the day to day operation of an urban design center and interior design firm.
